sometime last year supersizeme introduced me to this guy.. i sort of knew him but being the person that i am, i paid no attention to him, lol. so there we were, 4 (or something around that) people in a combined msn conversation.. this random guy guessed almost everything about me right and that (quite obviously) grabbed my attention.
it took us less than 2 minutes to find a mutual friend. well technically, he’s my brother’s friend’s friend’s friend.. but since the brother’s friend is also a family friend, he’s just a friend’s friend’s friend.. but he has met the family friend. before i confuse everyone any further, i’ll let you know that i’m talking about eddie (the blogger.. yes..).
eddie is the sort of person who will shut up and leave you alone if you tell him to. trust me i’ve done that before. half of the time he doesn’t care and he makes that quite clear (without even saying anything. beat that 
).
the guy knows more about horoscopes than i ever will. he can guess everything about you if you give him like 20 mins of undivided attention.. but trust me you wouldn’t want to do that. it’s kind of scary.
ed dislikes sexy.. i think it has something to do with how my man (more details on this in the next post) can carry pink AND HE CAN’T. hahahha.. i still love you ed ..
i’ve said this before and i will say it again. mr. adeel anwar speaks to too many random girls. by random i mean random girls from forums. seriously ed, not cool! every now and then he shows me msgs sent to him by his so-called sisters, lol. oh puhleeez! we all know how sisterly these sisters are.

Sunday Smiles: 2 + 6
- i spray perfume (on myself!) before going to sleep.
- i keep the newspaper cutting of my first article in my purse for good luck. i wrote it for the local newspaper in 6th grade. good times
- i live on a no-jeans-in-summer policy.
- i secretly listen to cheesy indian songs. pappu can’t dance saala! *insert some dance moves*
- i have more guy friends than girl friends. i think it has something to do with growing up in a house full of boys..
- before going to sleep, i have to spend some time staring at the wall on my right, then some time staring at the wall on my left, and then right again. finally i lie on my back, fold my arms on my stomach, and fall asleep.
- i write letters and cards but never end up posting them. i have more than 100 of them in my bedside drawer.
- i only date guys who can carry pink.
i tag eddie, awais, dehog, ayesha, tfl, pink-hater ammar, and anyone else who wants to do it.

sigh
7 years ago i lost my grandfather because of pancreatic cancer.
5 years ago i lost my cousin because of leukemia.
today an acquaintance told me that she has had leukemia for the past four years. i didn’t know what to say to her. telling her about my cousin would be bad. telling her that everything will be alright would be even worse. i just told her to pray and have faith in Allah.
can you all please pray for her?
